Light changes throughout the day.

Adjust the daylight

Tilting the slats changes light and privacy without moving the whole blind aside. The useful angle depends on the direction of sunlight and the view into the room.

A wide window

Vertical slats create a continuous finish across a large window. Planning also considers where the slats stack when open.

Home or workspace

Fabric and colour shape the atmosphere. We discuss whether you need softer daylight, glare control or more privacy.

Allow room for opening, too.

I check the track fixing and clearance around handles, radiators and the floor. At a door or walkway, opening direction is an important part of the choice. Final dimensions and fitting are confirmed before ordering.

The home visit is a paid service, not a product-order deposit. Its price is not automatically deducted from an order. We agree the scope and time before confirmation. Request a time by email; a message does not reserve a visit. Consider the product quote in your own time, without sales pressure.

Before you choose

A little clarity before you choose.

Are vertical blinds suitable for a home?

Yes. They are an option for a wide living-room window, for example. Fabric, colour and opening are selected around how the room is used.

Can the slats move completely aside?

The slats can move sideways, but the stack takes space. We check the chosen model and how much of the window or door remains clear.

Will they black out a room?

Fabric affects light transmission, but light can remain between slats and around the edges. If you need a bedroom as dark as possible, we also compare a roller-blind solution.

How do I get a quotation?

Start with a message about your windows. If a home visit is appropriate, we agree the paid consultation so you can compare samples and I can confirm measurements and fitting. You receive a written quote for the products and agreed installation. Accepting the quote is a separate decision.
