How should the light feel?

Softer daylight

A light-filtering fabric softens the room's atmosphere. We compare colour and translucency using samples in the space where the blind will be used.

A calmer bedroom

Blackout fabric reduces light through the material. Mounting position and edge gaps also affect the result, so I assess these at the window.

A considered view

Screen fabric can help manage glare while retaining a view outside. Privacy depends on the fabric and lighting: a daytime solution may not provide the same privacy after dark.

Fabric and fitting work together.

I check clearance around opening windows, handles and other curtains. We also discuss operation: manual or motorised, where a suitable option is available. The product and practical installation are confirmed before ordering.

Before you choose

A little clarity before you choose.

What is the difference between filtering and blackout fabric?

Light-filtering fabric allows daylight into the room, while blackout fabric blocks light through the material. How dark the whole room becomes also depends on edges and mounting. We compare samples against your needs.

Does screen fabric give privacy at night?

Not necessarily. When it is brighter inside than outside, visibility can change. Tell me when you need privacy so we can choose a suitable fabric or combination.

Can I see the fabrics before ordering?

Yes. I bring physical samples to the home consultation. Compare colours and materials in the room's own light before choosing.

Can you measure and install the roller blinds?

Yes. I measure the windows and plan the fitting during the home visit. You receive a quote for the products and agreed installation. After ordering, we arrange installation once the products arrive.

Hands-on help in Uusimaa.

I mainly serve Kirkkonummi, Espoo, Kauniainen, Helsinki, Vantaa. Tuusula, Järvenpää and the rest of Uusimaa by arrangement. Tell me your town and what you need, and we’ll agree on a suitable next step.
